Virtual Assistant - Emilia Capper
My Assistant Emilia
Emilia is Garnet PR’s resident Virtual Assistant, AKA ‘Organisation Queen’. With many years as a wedding and event manager under her belt, she knows how to plan to perfection; spreadsheets, itineraries and to-do lists are her things and her attention to detail is second to none.
A business owner herself, she understands what is required in the day to day running of other small businesses and can often predict what is needed; getting it done before you even knew you needed it.
Looking after the day-to-day running of the business behind the scenes, having Emilia on board means you can stay firmly in your zone of genius, knowing that all the business essentials will run like clockwork. She joins Garnet PR to support with our business essentials, social media and digital marketing, and assisting with the growth of the business.
PR Account Manager - Hannah Leach
Hawthorn House VA
With more than 15 years of PR and comms experience and a CIPR award under her belt, Hannah has a wealth of experience from a large variety of industries and clients – including English Heritage. Her career highlights include managing the regional arm of several national government PR campaigns for the Department for Health, being personal press officer to several senior ministers' visits and training staff at the Environment Agency on crisis communications and social media.
She joins Garnet PR to support with client account management after recently setting up her own Virtual Assistant Business (Hawthorn House Virtual Assistants) – which she established to gain a balance with family life, while also supporting the industry she loves.
Her experience and love of the all things rural, stemming from the hours she spent as a child at her aunt’s farm in Worcestershire, make her a perfect match for Garnet PR.
Web Development Associate - Gareth Williams
Gareth is our go-to tech genius and joins Garnet PR as our Web Development Associate. He is responsible for the web wizardry and behind the scenes magic that keeps our website looking lovely and working seamlessly.
After a decade in IT management and web development, Gareth has set up his own company, Fluks Consulting to support businesses of all sizes. “Fluks” is an Afrikaans word meaning diligent, smart and hardworking. Embracing the values his company is named after, Gareth removes the headache of dealing with the technical stuff so you can focus on doing what you do best.
His commercial focus and passion for what he does make him the ultimate asset. He immerses himself fully in the brands he works with; getting to know them and their customers, identifying the tiny tech tweaks (as well as the big stuff) that have major impacts then delivering them.
Equestrian Digital Marketing Associate - Christine Bjerkan
Christine Bjerkan is an equine expert from Norway and the founder of a specialist equestrian marketing agency, Equerry Consulting.
Having always been deeply passionate about the technical development of the equine industry and its sports, Christine went on to self-study the creative and technical disciplines of marketing, coding and design before establishing her business.
After more than half a decade honing her expertise, Christine’s acquired skill set has enabled her to go from freelancer to established and successful business owner, solely focusing on media communications and web design services for equestrian businesses.
Christine supports Garnet PR’s equestrian clients with all of their digital marketing needs.
Photography Associate - Maryanne Scott
The Branding Photographer
Maryanne is a commercial photographer working across the UK, encouraging entrepreneurs, coaches, therapists and many other types of business owners to follow their passion, create brilliant brands and to be visible as the face of their business.
Maryanne has worked with hundreds of entrepreneurs and business owners creating branding images for websites, social media and PR. Being a strong believer that pictures speak louder than words and that a brilliant visual brand drives success, Maryanne creates images that help business owners show up and get in front of their ideal clients.
Maryanne joins Garnet PR as our Photography Associate. She has taken many of the images you’ll see across our digital channels and is the trusted photographer for many of our colleagues, contacts and clients.
Office Assistant - Lord Tedworth Bear
Teddy is our resident office assistant. He has multiple duties which he takes very seriously.
He is our chief postmaster - alerting us to all deliveries, ultimate break enforcer - insisting on lunchtime walks and multiple tea breaks, and the pawfect poster boy for Garnet PR, frequently trotting into our social media.
This furry little bear loves nothing more than popping up in our videos, and wonders why he has not yet been promoted to Chief Woof and Manager of the Biscuit Tin.
