A beautiful, British Christmas

Kate Cardew Illustrations approached us to support them with raising brand and product awareness and securing inclusion in

Christmas gift guides ahead of their most important time of year. This included traditional and digital PR activities.

We created a bespoke campaign which highlighted 'four core' champion ranges of products to specialist, national, local and
regional media. We also nurtured relationships with influential bloggers and ran competitions to showcase key pieces. We
capitalised on Burghley Horse Trials, new product launches, events and news, to secure interviews and profile pieces.



  • We achieved almost double our coverage target, our aim was 15 - we achieved 29

Olive & Berry

A pawfect first Christmas

Olive & Berry approached us to raise brand awareness & ensure their products were considered for Christmas gift guides across the country. This included national, regional and local PR activity, influencer relations and consultancy.

We developed a multi-layer PR strategy which involved promoting their launch, product and charity campaign, targeting different press with their best suited items to encourage inclusion in Christmas gift guides. We targeted specialist, national, regional and local media, as well as bloggers - arranging gifting and supporting with adverts and competitions.


  • We secured 12 pieces of national coverage in media including The Guardian, Horse & Hound, Your Dog and Your Horse

  • We secured a fabulous interview with leading equestrian online news site Haynet, along with nine further regional pieces

  • We were delighted to hear that PR has led to 45% of sales and 46% of web traffic over our campaign

  • We smashed our initial target of 15 pieces of coverage by achieving 39 in total


Go Your Own Way
A really wild Christmas

GYOW asked us to develop and deliver a PR plan to raise brand awareness and ensure their products were considered for
Christmas gift guides across the country in traditional and digital media outlets, both regionally and nationally, to drive sales and to help leverage local stockists.


We developed a PR strategy highlighting multiple products, selecting a core ‘champion’ range and targeting different press with their best suited items to encourage inclusion in Christmas gift guides. We targeted national, regional and local media, as well as bloggers - sharing regular news about the brand, securing interviews and gifting well-aligned bloggers and publications.


  • Doubled our coverage aim and secured three pieces of national coverage in the Guardian, Trail Magazine and Country Walking

  • GYOW reported a significant increase in sales of the 'core champion' range as a result of media and blog exposure

  • We achieved 17 pieces of regional coverage across the North, including a double page spread in Cumbria Life (a key target)


Lotherton 2019
Santa skates into Yorkshire

Leading Yorkshire attraction, Lotherton, approached us to create a campaign encouraging families to visit their magical
Christmas Experience and new ice rink. This included local and regional PR, influencer relations and a press preview event.


We designed a campaign which highlighted The Christmas Experience and new ice rink to local and regional audiences. We also targeted national media to put Lotherton's events in front of new audiences - increasing brand awareness and driving footfall. We focused on sharing regular news and updates with traditional and digital media, lifestyle magazines and family bloggers.


  • Secured a total of 126 news pieces - with eight pieces of national coverage including the Mail Online and inews

  • Achieved 24 pieces of coverage in the Yorkshire Evening Post and Yorkshire Post alone (both identified as key target media)

  • 92% attendance rate at the press preview event; 22 regional journalists and bloggers all with positive reviews & social coverage

  • Exceeded all aims and supported the outdoor atrraction with driving footfall in a year when bad weather was a real concern

Lincolnshire's premier wine merchant

The Wriggly Tin Wine Company approached us to help the team raise their profile and increase brand awareness via social media and traditional press in their local area.

We developed a multifaceted campaign interwoven with their key messages, industry insights and their brand personality. We
delivered fresh, frequent and engaging campaigns (including a competition) across social media. We also submitted targeted
copy to key magazines, assisted with adverts & advertorial, and crafted traditional press releases to promote their events.



  • 27 pieces of media coverage, surpassing our target by 21

  • Increased social media reach, surpassing our target by 169%

  • Increased social media followers by 30%, surpassing our target by 71 %

Independent Cottages
Savings for savvy Brits

Independent Cottages came to us publicise their recent research into the cost savings for consumers when booking directly. This included local, regional and national PR activity with a focus on primarily digital media.

We crafted a bespoke campaign positioning Independent Cottages as experts on UK staycation holidays, hooking onto the wider news agenda and highlighting the benefits of direct bookings. We tailored a series of press releases for local, regional and national media using geographical statistics. All releases positioned Independent Cottages as the place to go to book a UK break.


  • 18 pieces of coverage across regional and national media including Yahoo News, the full suite of regional ‘Connected’ news

  • sites and Lake District regional newspaper, The Mail

  • Coverage was all online with 50% including a website link

  • Total estimated reach of media coverage: 2,120,196 people


Chris Fawcett Coaching

Constructing Success

Chris Fawcett approached us ahead of his official launch to help him raise awareness of his new coaching business. This

included regional & trade press and content consultancy.

We crafted a bespoke launch campaign which successfully positioned Chris as the construction coaching expert in Yorkshire. We hooked onto the wider news agenda around the mental health crisis in the construction industry and how coaching can help. In addition to our strategic news plan, we shared recommendations on how to leverage PR coverage to help increase his profile.

Pony book expert Jane Badger wanted to raise awareness of the launch of her new series of e-books, including many hard to
find and out of print pony books.

We were handed the reins of promoting the launch and tasked with stirring up nostalgia among an older audience, as well as
attracting a new, younger audience. We focused on traditional media relations to equestrian titles, blogger reviews and
delivered a social media coaching session for Jane.
